About the Position
Harris Health System is seeking an EVS Floor Tech II to support Correctional Health operations. In this role, you will be responsible for floor care maintenance, ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across correctional health facilities.
Primary responsibilities include operating floor care equipment, following routine cleaning schedules, and completing both scheduled and unscheduled assignments. You may also assist with general environmental services duties, working independently or as part of a team to maintain facility standards and safety.

Requirements
Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
OR six (6) months of recent hospitality, commercial, or healthcare housekeeping experience in lieu of diploma/GED
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of housekeeping experience
At least 6 months of hard floor maintenance and restoration experience
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in PeopleSoft and PC applications
Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to safety and detail
Equipment Knowledge:
Experience operating floor care equipment including:
High and low-speed machines
Walk-behind and riding scrubbers
Burnishers, extractors, and wet vacuums
Work Schedule:
Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and overtime
