About the Position

A Facilities Engineering Journeyman Technician at Harris Health performs preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to various systems. These systems may include HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Carpentry, and other vital infrastructure systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Journeyman level license or equivalent certification
  • 1st Grade Stationary Engineering from the City of Houston accepted
  • Trade/Craft specific licensure or certification accepted
• 4 years of building maintenance experience preferred
• Valid Texas Driver's License preferred
• Ability to pass skill assessment established by the Facilities Engineering Department
