Job Summary – Correctional Health
The Registered Pharmacy Technician prepares and dispenses prescribed medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The role ensures excellence in patient care, safety, and satisfaction while adhering to all state, federal, organizational, and departmental regulations and guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Licensure & Certification:
Registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy and in good standing
IV Certification preferred
Work Experience:
Up to one (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
Communication Skills:
Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact)
