About the Position

Harris Health is seeking a Supplemental Histotechnologist II to join the Laboratory team at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital.

In this role, you will participate in the day-to-day operations of the laboratory with a focus on histology specimen processing. You will process and prepare patient tissue according to established departmental procedures, applying your technical knowledge and expertise to support accurate and timely pathology services.

The Histotechnologist II also contributes to continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance laboratory quality, efficiency, and diagnostic services. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing high-quality specimens that support accurate patient diagnoses.

• Licensure and Certification

  • ASCP Histotechnologist (HTL) certification required
