About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sterile Processing Technician Supervisor to lead the Sterile Processing Department at Harris Health System. In this role, you will supervise the daily operations of the sterile processing unit, ensuring that surgical instruments and medical equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and distributed. You will work closely with clinical teams to support efficient patient care, maintain regulatory compliance, and promote a safe healthcare environment. As a supervisor, you will also be responsible for staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations, while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST or CSPDT)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sterile processing
• Supervisory or lead experience in a healthcare setting
• In-depth knowledge of sterile processing practices and regulatory standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment
