About the Position: Harris Health System is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital (LBJ). Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician will prepare and dispense prescribed medications, ensuring excellence in patient care, safety, and satisfaction. This role requires strict adherence to state, federal, organizational, and departmental regulations and guidelines to maintain the highest standards of service for our patients.

Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Licensure: Registered and in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician; IV Certification preferred
- Experience: Up to 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
- Communication Skills: Above average verbal communication (heavy public contact)
- Other Skills: Proficiency in mathematics, medical terminology, and P.C. use
- Work Schedule: Available for weekends, holidays, flexible shifts, overtime, and travel as needed
